While debuting Yes and Yes in Philadelphia in September, our Artistic Director Liz Roche caught up with Professor Joseph Lennon at Villanova University, to discuss Liz's experience with reading and finding movement in James Joyce's Ulysses.
"I felt I had great license in making this piece to just follow that stream of consciousness, similar to Joyce. That's really where I'm happiest, seeing where the movement plays out, seeing what it grows into and how it evaporates. That's been a real joy in this making. I've given myself total license to indulge myself in that way."
Yes and Yes performed at The John and Joan Mullen Centre for Performing Arts, Philadelphia in September 2022.
